Football Standings 0.6.2

On April 17, 2011, in Football Standings, by terencejackson

Hi Guys,

this morning I released Version 0.6.2 of my wordpress plugin.

These are the major changes:

  • Caching: You can now cache the tables. This improves the speed of the page loading. If you don’t want to cache, just set the cache to NoCache.
  • Icons are enabled: But beware. Have a look at the FAQ: The problem is, that it is not allowed by the DFL to show icons of the teams of the german bundesliga
  • The refresh problem in the settings is solved!

I want to use your plugin but the website tool only lets you create a league with minimum 15 teams… there are only 6 teams in our league. Is there a work around?

      Hi Rory,

if you want only 6 teams in a league, you have to contact the guys from OpenligaDB.
A workaround could be to implement some sort of “ignored teams” for the plugin. Then you would create a league with 15 teams and choose the ignored teams which will not be considered in the calculation.

I think about the ignore list, an maybe it will be in 0.6.3 😉

      Hi arsenalindiasupporters,

this is weird 🙁 I am not able to reproduce it in my development environment. But I have an idea. If you want, I can sent you a patch and we see if this will work…
